Web-Based Account Information Page Now Available
Want to find out more information about the charges you've incurred using
the EZ-Snapshot backup system? Or see if one of your print jobs got rebated?
Or maybe just find out how much money you have to print that upcoming big
project?
You're in luck! A new Web-based tool is now available that provides access to
much of the information about your RCS account and resource usage.
To access this new account information page, click on the Academic
Computing Services link from the main RPInfo homepage, and then on
the RCS Account User Statistics link from the resulting ACS homepage.
Some Important Notices...
- You must have changed your RCS password within the past six months in order
to be able to use this application.
- For the immediate future, this tool is available only on systems such
as personal Windows laptops or desktop machines, which give
you sufficient access to download the required Java runtime and browser
plug-ins, and which also support Java Version 1.3.
- If you attempt to access this application and do not have Java 1.3 or
the appropriate browser plug-ins, the system will lead you through the
necessary download and installation processes. (You may find that this is
easier to do from Internet Explorer, so Netscape users may wish to revisit
the page via Internet Explorer, install the runtime and plug-ins, and then
return using Netscape. The plug-ins for both browsers will be installed.
- Netscape users will need to have version 4.75 or higher of the browser.
Using the Application
To try out this new application:
- Click on the Computing & Info. Services Home link from
the Computing section of the RPInfo homepage.
- Click on the Accounts link, and then the RCS Accounts User
Statistics link.
- From the resulting homepage, click on the Start the application
link.
