Library Announces SciFinder Scholar 2000 Upgrade

CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society, has released SciFinder Scholar 2000, the latest upgrade to this award-winning desktop research tool designed especially for use by students and faculty to easily access the information in the CAS databases. With no special training needed, you can explore the world's most comprehensive collection of published scientific research through a variety of ways--by author name, research topic, substance identifier, chemical structure, or chemical reaction. Simply point and click to retrieve information on more than 27 million substances in the CAS Registry file.

SciFinder Scholar 2.0 Discontinued

As a follow-up regarding the recent SciFinder 2000 upgrade, support for version 2.0 of SciFinder Scholar was discontinued as of December 31, and users should upgrade to SciFinder Scholar 2000. Download links are available at the URL http://www.lib.rpi.edu/resources/databases/getscifinder.html.
