The CIS staff has seen a number of changes over the summer.

As of June 2, Rensselaer Computer Repair was sorry to bid adieu to Cherie Wetmiller, who started working as a Computer Repair Specialist for the department just last December. Since then, Cherie has moved on to work as a NOC Technician for VPNet Technologies, located in the Rensselaer Technology Park in North Greenbush.

June 13 marked the last day that Ernest Lefner worked as a Senior Network Technician for Network Support Services. Since then, Ernest has relocated to Boston and has taken a position with Fidelity Investments, where he works as a Senior Network Engineer. NSS was also sorry to lose Network Technician Steven Lindsey, who began working as a System Administrator/Research Programmer for Rensselaer's Computer Science department as of August 14.

We wish Cherie, Ernie, and Steven the very best of luck!

After over five years of service as a member of the Library staff, Engineering Librarian Amy Van Epps marked her last day at Rensselaer on July 31, to take a position as Assistant Engineering Librarian and Assistant Professor of Library Science at Purdue University Libraries in Indiana.
