Title

It is a good idea to provide a ``title" for your document to give readers an idea of the kind of information the document contains. It is the name that appears in peoples' listings when they save your page to their hotlist or bookmark file in their browser. It is not a header.

The <title> and </title> tags enclose the text that names your document.
