HTML Translators

The following are the translators available on RCS.

• fm2html     - FrameMaker (to Maker Interchange Format (MIF)) to HTML
• latex2html   - LaTeX to HTML
• txt2html   - ascii text to HTML

You can find instructions on-line for fm2html and latex2html by reading the man pages.

Examples:

• To convert a plain text file to HTML, enter the command

  
     txt2html < filename.txt > filename.html
  

• To convert a FrameMaker file to HTML, enter the command

  
     fm2html filename
  

• To convert a LaTeXfile to HTML, enter the command

  
     latex2html filename.tex
  

  The program will create a subdirectory with name filename, containing one file for every section of your document.
