Gnus (pronounced ``NUZ'') is a newsreader that operates inside emacs. If you are used to emacs, you may be interested in investigating Gnus. This memo does not cover Gnus, but excellent documentation is provided in the Emacs Info manual.
To read the on-line documentation, enter CTRL-h i from within emacs. Then, select the line labeled ``GNUS'' and press the middle mouse button. (There is information about using Emacs Info at the top of the screen.)
To start Gnus, press ESC x and enter gnus.
