Description

Mechanica is a mechanical modeler capable of predicting objects' motions, while accounting for many different possible factors. Mechanica can generate sophisticated graphics detailing these motions.

How to access Mechanica

Mechanica is available on the IBM RS6000's. There is a script which you must run, once and only once, before you can use mechanica. In order to run this script first bring up a Unix window. Now type the following

setup ecs/amotion

Note: You must have the ecs addmap in order for this to work.
