Obtaining Online Help in Maple

You can access Maple's built-in online help in a number of ways:

• Left-click on the word Help in the upper right-hand corner of any Maple window. A pop-up sub-menu will appear when you do this, and you may then select further help on using the browser, doing keyword searches, or Maple's key bindings, version, and so on.
• Type ? or help(); at a Maple chevron (>) prompt.

You can also request specific online help if you enter either of the following from a Maple prompt:

        ?fsolve

When you finish reading the help information, left-click on the File menu option at the top of the main Maple window, and then select Close Help Topic from the pop-up sub-menu which appears. Doing this closes the help window; it should disappear from the screen.
