Sun(Sound) LYMB Sun(Sound)

NAME

sun sound - device specific class for sound interface to Sun Microsystems Sparcstation

DESCRIPTION

The sun_sound class is device specific class to interface to the Sun Microsystems SparcStation sound device. This class is not ment to be used directly by the user. Instead, the user should use the generic sound class. The relationship of sun sound reader to sound reader is similar to that of the device specific renderer classes, such as vogle, to the abstract renderer class. This mechanism allows scripts to be portable amoung various sound devices.

When using the sound class, the sun sound class will automatically be used if the LYMB_SOUND environmental variable is set to sun_sound.
