ACS is responsible for installing CODE V and maintaining its operation;
for help on actually using the package, please contact Pankaj Das, Professor
of Electrical, Computer and Systems Engineering.
CODE V, Optical Research Associates' program for optical system design and analysis, is available. However, please note that this package is licensed only for use on the Sun workstations in JEC 3207, as well as the remote access Suns; there is no IBM RS/6000 version.

For more information on using CODE V, refer to the documentation listed below, as well as the Possible Problems and Solutions section.
For additional information on using CODE V, refer to the CODE V Reference Manual, Volumes I, III, and III, located at the Help Desk in the VCC and CII 3111.
The CODE V license has to be reactivated every month, so if you attempt to run the package and get a message similar to "Accounting report must be run," it most likely means that the package needs to be reset. Type quit at the ACC> prompt which has appeared, and contact the ACS consultants at x7777 (or send e-mail to them at consult@rpi.edu) so they can reactivate the program.
