Signing things out

In the corner where we keep the CDs in the VCC, you will see a large black binder. This binder is used when you sign something out to a client. To sign something out, get their ID card, in the book, write down their name, what they borrowed, the date and the time, and then initial the left hand of the 2 right hand most columns on the sheet. Clip their ID to the book at the bottom, and give them what they are signing out. When they return the software, check that everything that was signed out is being signed back in, initial the last column, and return their ID, then put away the software.
If they want to sign something out without an ID, they need to talk to Pat, Daria, or Judy for permission, as this is not standard procedure.
