The 600s or the 600Es

Both of these laptops are reimaged by the staff members only, typically Daria. Next to the printer vchdlw in the bins is where you find the Reimage forms. These must be filled out by the student before the image takes place. The procedure for getting the product key for Windows is listed on the Form. If they can get their own code, this would be a great help, however, if Windows is toasted, and they no longer have the book that came with the laptop that contains the product key, we do have a product key that works. Also make sure that their system does not contain any hard drive or BIOS Passwords. Do this by doing a cold boot and going into the Bios (Press F1 at the IBM Flash Screen) and checking the password option to make sure that it is unchecked.. To remove a BIOS password, boot the computer to where it asks for it, type it in and append a space before pressing enter. Take the white copy of the form, and affix it to the laptop using scotch tape, place the laptop in the cabinet behind Daria's desk, give the yellow copy to the client, and you're done.
