|Achille Messac specializes in, among other things, optimal design and structural dynamics. He is currently leading the development of physical programming, a methodology that brings optimization within the easy reach of industry engineers.||Dan Walczyk 91 works in rapid tooling, specifically laminated tooling. He delves into the underlying scientific behavior and applies the tooling method to various manufacturing processes.||Kurt Anderson does research in the modeling and optimization of multibody dynamic systems. He uses parallel computers to model complex systems such as
automobiles, the International Space Station, molecular systems, and even the human body.
|George Xus research and teaching focus on radiation dosimetry using medical imaging and computer Monte Carlo simulations for radiation protection and radiation treatment purposes.|
