Ismail Fidan, Ph.D. ’96
Fidan ’96 Named NAIT Outstanding Professor

The National Association of Industrial Technology awarded Ismail Fidan, Ph.D. ’96, its Outstanding Industrial Technology Professor Award at the 2001 NAIT Convention in Dearborn, Mich., Nov. 2.

The award, sponsored by the Goodheart-Willcox Co., honors excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.

Fidan is assistant professor in the department of manufacturing and industrial technology at Tennessee Technological University. His teaching and research interests are in computer-aided design, computer numerical control, and computer-integrated manufacturing.
