Job Connections:
Rensselaer is Here to Help
There is little doubt that the national economy will rebound from recent events. However, the Rensselaer Alumni Association and the Office of Alumni Relations realize that many alumni have been affected, and they are committed to helping with a full array of career services.
The Career Development Center stands ready to critique your resume or offer career management counseling. If you are looking to re-evaluate your career path, access FutureStep, a full-service search firm for technological management professionals. As a member of the Rensselaer community you are also eligible to participate in MonsterTrack, an online job resource for professionals in nearly every field. The Alumni Relations office also offers RenSource, a Rensselaer-only online networking database. More than 7,000 alumni already have signed up and are accessing this great tool for career networking.
Watch for announcements about upcoming regional programs featuring networking- and career-focused events and programs. Affinity (interest-based) groups in information technology, biotechnology, entrepreneurship, and patent law promote professional relationships among alumni.
Wherever you are in your career, in good job markets and in bad, there are Rensselaer services that can assist you. Go to www.alumni.rpi.edu to learn more.
