Rensselaers Gallagher Student Health Center Achieves National Accreditation
Rensselaer Gallagher Student Health Center has achieved accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). The status indicates that the Student Health Center has passed a series of rigorous and nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality health care, set by the AAAHC.

We have been accredited by the AAAHC since 1996 and we are proud to continue to earn this level of recognition for our efforts. Rensselaers commitment to maintain AAAHC certification assures quality patient care and an appropriate organizational framework.

Not all ambulatory health-care organizations undergoing the on-site survey are granted accreditation. Only 1,300 ambulatory health-care facilities across the United States have been accredited by the AAAHC.
Rensselaers Gallagher Student Health Center is a comprehensive accredited physician-directed program featuring an outpatient medical clinic; specialist, hospital, and pharmacy services; laboratory services; gynecological and allergy clinics; a Counseling Center; and health education and wellness programs, including the Wellness Library.
The Student Health Center is an integral part of Rensselaers focus on providing a high-quality student life experience, from the classroom to the residence hall and beyond.
