Rensselaer Honored by Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program

Rensselaer was recently honored for its commitment to helping small businesses when it was awarded the "Best Performing Silver Alliance Partner" at the second annual Alliance Partner Appreciation Event, which took place in Washington, D.C., May 6.

The event was coordinated by the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP), a NASA-funded initiative designed to transfer the knowledge and technology of the space program to small businesses. SATOP’s Silver Alliance Partners include many different NASA industrial contractors and government laboratories, and universities and colleges that have each pledged 500 hours of engineering support to the program.
