All Aboard: Vermont Senator Visits Rensselaer's
Model Railroad
Vermont Senator Jim Jeffords and his wife, Elizabeth,
toured the Rensselaer Model Railroad Society's Railroad Heritage
Exhibit Dec. 9. Jeffords, who was traveling through the area,
had read a recent article about the exhibit in a Rutland newspaper.
The model railroad exhibit, located in the basement of Davison
Hall, depicts the fictitious New England, Berkshire & Western
Railroad in the 1950s. A large portion of the exhibit depicts
Vermont and in particular the Rutland Rail Yard.
