IT Concentration: Civil Engineering
(Engineering)

For those entering the program Fall 2009 semester & beyond

Contact Person: Satish Ukkusuri

Description:
Students in this concentration can specialize in one of two areas.

The first involves the creation of 3-D and 4-D visualizations of buildings, bridges, highway systems and other kinds of civil systems. These virtual reality environments will be the essence of civil engineering design and construction in the coming millenium.

The second specialization focuses on the collection, analysis and dissemination of information concerning the operation of civil systems.
