Julie Conway
B.S. in Information Technology
Concentration in Management Information Systems
“I think the IT program really helped me get a leg up on a lot of other purely technical or purely business people. I am always regarded as the person in the company that is able to interface with both the very technical coders and with the marketing partners. I am called in to ‘translate’ technical speak to business speak and vice versa.”
Julie started as a Management major and switched into IT during the second semester of her sophomore year. She is from Keene, NH and was very active in softball, ice hockey and soccer while at Rensselaer. She was also active in her class council. Julie was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority and also the Women at Rensselaer Mentor Program.
Current Position: Vice President, Bank of America, Analysis and Information Management Group
Description: Julie analyzes and forecasts account activity of deposit product customers. She then uses analysis results to recommend changes to deposit account prices and to measure the financial impact of the changes.
