Why did you choose to enroll at Rensselaer?
I chose RPI primarily because of the ITWS program. On one hand, it offers students many concentration options, which are all well-defined and very industry-oriented. On the other hand, it provides good research opportunities for students to work in research labs, and they are therefore able to understand more about research and the academic career.
What are some benefits of being part of the Graduate Community at Rensselaer?
The greatest benefit for me is the resourceful and friendly faculty. A number of them helped me a lot with my course projects, internships, and became part of the reason that I chose to pursue a Ph.D. here.
What would you tell a prospective student about choosing Rensselaer?
RPI really puts itself in a position where it’s trying to make its students innovators who are able to solve real-world problems. It focuses on using the state-of-art technologies and combining cross-domain efforts to explore the most exciting topics. If you want to be a pioneer in Engineering and Technology, RPI is definitely the place for you.
