IT Graduate Concentration:
E-Business Engineering

The E-Business Engineering concentration prepares students for careers in the transformation of traditional organizations into the e-business paradigm as well as the creation, operation, and management of new Internet enterprises.

The curriculum covers both the signature technology of e-business and the emerging business models and practices in the field. Students could choose either the managerial side or the technical side of e-business as the focus of their study, or a blending of the two.

The curriculum includes new courses developed from expert knowledge in the field, with a capstone that emphasizes e-business enterprising based on an integration of management and technology. This exclusive relevance makes the curriculum unique among similar programs in the nation.

Depending on their choice of study focus, E-Business Engineering graduates have a range of career choices including developing e-business systems, managing e-business operations, and starting up e-business ventures. They can work with consulting firms, e-business vendors, or e-business users.
