Christine Goodrich
Research Assistant - Keck Water Research Lab
Da Vinci said, "Water is the driving force of all nature". My internship at the Keck Water Research Lab of Darrin Freshwater Institute has opened my eyes to an exciting adventure, one that has influenced my career path and continues to change my future. I received my degree in mathematics and communication studies at SUNY Oneonta, but as many of us find, it takes a couple of years out of school before we actually find our passion.
Most recently, I've completed a post-baccalaureate certificate in pre-med at Sage University. Keck has offered me a deep scientific immersion, in which I am able to find something I am truly passionate about. This experience, once again, may modify my thoughts about my career plans. When not at the lab, I am a tutor at Sage University, and also work at St. Peter's Hospital.
I also enjoy romantic candlelit Asian Clam dinners and long walks on the Lake George Beach.
