Researchers

CFES research is conducted by respected leaders in the fields of energy materials, device development and testing, and systems architecture. In collaboration with Cornell University and Brookhaven National Laboratory, the CFES researchers are conducting core and applied research into low cost-high efficiency photovoltaic technologies, compound semiconductor materials, advanced lighting sources, smart lighting and displays, intelligent building architectures, wind turbine performance enhancement, bioenergy, fuel cell testing and characterization, battery and energy nanomaterials technologies, and distributed generation grid testing.
