STSS-6010

Concepts/Research Seminar in Science and Technology Studies

Term one of a two-semester graduate seminar designed primarily for matriculants in the department’s M.S. program in Science and Technology Studies. Introduces students to the literature and the current issues in the constituent disciplines of Science and Technology Studies. Considers applications of this scholarship to current practical problems involving the human dimensions of science and technology. The first semester culminates in a bibliographic essay. Prerequisite: graduate status or permission of instructor. Fall term annually.
