Seminar in Organizational Psychology
A seminar for reading and discussing methods and substance data in organizational psychology (micro-level analysis) and some organizational theory (macro-level analysis). Current theories in the areas of motivation, leadership, expectancies, learning, equity, and goal setting are presented and discussed. This course requires the completion of a research proposal in the area of organizational psychology for the purpose of introducing students to the methods used for testing theory and applying theory to organizational settings. Prerequisite: graduate status or permission of instructor. Spring term annually.
