Cognitive Modeling
Cognitive modeling refers to the study of human cognition through computational modeling of cognitive processes. The purpose of this course is to teach the skills involved in developing cognitive models. We will review the results in cognitive psychology including those from perception, memory, problem solving, and learning, and develop computer programs to model of those results. Prerequisite: CSCI-1100 and CSCI-1200 and PSYC-1200. Recommended: PSYC-4370. Annually.
