PHYS-4810

Computer Modeling in Physics

A survey course in the basic techniques of computational physics, emphasizing studies of physical systems by numerical experimentation. The systems to be studied include examples from plasma physics, nuclear physics, condensed matter physics, high energy physics, and astrophysics. Prerequisites: CSCI-1100, PHYS-1100, and PHYS-1200 or permission of instructor. Spring term odd-numbered years.
