Existentialism

An examination of the works of such writers as Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Heidegger, Sartre, and Jaspers. Attention is also given to the thought of Husserl and to the phenomenological movement. Prerequisite: one course in philosophy or permission of instructor. Offered upon availability of instructor.
