Thermodynamics of Materials

Rigorous development of classical thermodynamics as applied to prediction of materials properties. Nonideal gases, solutions, phase equilibria, chemical equilibria, defects. Prerequisites: ENGR-2250, ENGR-1500, ENGR-1600 or equivalent. Fall term annually.
