Radiological Engineering

Background radiation, biological effects of radiation, radiation units and measurements, analysis of radiation exposures, dosimetry, shielding calculations, nuclear safety. A lecture and laboratory course that covers radiation survey techniques and measurements. Prerequisite: ENGR-2830 or equivalent. Spring term annually.
