MANE-4430
Fundamentals of Gas-Liquid, Two-Phase Flow
Theory of systems involving two-phase flow of liquids and gases or vapors: flow regimes including bubbly, slug, annular, and droplet, and combinations, homogeneous, separated, or dispersed flows are introduced. Single-phase flows modeling concepts and modeling methods based on the drift-flux model, and the two-fluid model are utilized in the analysis of gas-liquid flow behavior. Prerequisites: ENGR-2250 and either MATH-4600 or permission of instructor. Fall term annually.
