Stresses in Machine Elements

Application of the principles of strength of materials to the analysis and design of machine parts. Curved bars, multisupport shafts, torsion, cylinders under pressure, thermal stresses, creep, and relaxation, rotating disks and other machine elements are considered. Fall and spring terms annually.
