Business French I
This course surveys the technical and cultural aspects of the French business world within its geographical, social, and political context. It provides the student with insights into the social and political make-up of French society as they affect the economy of France and her trading partners. It introduces the vocabulary and the essential tools needed by business professionals and requires an extensive practice in business writing and communication. Audio-visual materials supplement the text by helping the student to discover the French business world and its language and by bridging the gap between French and American business cultures. Prerequisite: French IV (LANG-2120) or permission of the instructor. Fall term annually.
