Bench Scale Design

The design and operation of different laboratory experiments to provide experience for the environmental engineer in the practical application of chemical and biological theory. Design parameters are developed via bench scale testing. Topics can include biological treatment, phytoremediation, composting of solid waste and soil columns, and microbial respirometry. Spring term annually.
