Infrastructure Asset Management Systems
Engineering methods and decision processes for managing engineered facilities and related assets. Topics include: engineering asset types; integrated asset management; traditional infrastructure management systems; development and implementation issues; key issues during design, construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation phases of ownership; strategic planning and budgeting decision processes; analysis of tradeoffs, economic consequences of decisions; and benchmarking of system performance. Prerequisite: CIVL-4570. Fall term alternate years.
