Highway Engineering

Principles of geometric design of highways, intersections, interchanges, and terminals. Practical issues of vertical and horizontal curvature, highway evaluation, driver and vehicle dynamics, and traffic safety are also addressed. Computer-aided design and modeling. Prerequisite: CIVL-2030. Spring term even-numbered years.
