Faculty Webinar Series
Archived and Available On-Demand
Rensselaer’s Hartford campus started the popular free Faculty Webinar Series in the summer of 2011. To date, there have been 25 webinars presented by the Hartford faculty, and more are scheduled for the spring term. The three academic areas in Hartford—computer science/IT, engineering, and management—have all been represented in the webinar series.
Recent topics include “Post-Carbon Energy Scenario,” “The New World of Big Data,” and “Hidden Determinants of Supply Chain Agility.” During fall 2011, the theme for four webinars focused on topics related to “Energy and Sustainability.”
Live webinars last no more than an hour and are usually scheduled on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., including a Q&A session. Registration is free and open to all, but limited to the first 100 participants. All members of the Rensselaer community are encouraged to engage in these webinars.
