Army ROTC To Host 5K Race on Behalf of
Jonathon Kohl ’10
The Mohawk Battalion Army ROTC will host the Run for Kohl 5K event on Sunday, Sept. 15, to benefit Jonathon Kohl ’10, who was injured in a helicopter crash while deployed in Afghanistan. Kohl was involved in Greek Life, in SAE, as well as ROTC and other on-campus activities. Members of the Rensselaer campus community are invited to attend and support the event.
All proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors. Thousands of wounded warriors and caregivers receive support each year through WWP programs and services designed to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment and engagement.
The Run for Kohl 5K welcomes participants of all levels and of all ages. Individuals may choose to run in the race or volunteer.
Registration is still open. Event day registration will be available for $35. To register or donate, visit http://runforkohl.org/index.php.
