Robert Linhardt To Discuss New Frontiers in Glycoscience and Glycoengineering
Robert Linhardt, the Ann and John H. Broadbent Jr. ’59 Senior Constellation Professor of Biocatalysis and Metabolic Engineering, will discuss recent research on the anticoagulant drug heparin and the possibility of mimicking biological systems with artificial devices.
The lecture is part of the Detail View series at the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC). The series provides a platform for Rensselaer professors and researchers to share in-depth perspectives on their fields of inquiry.
Linhardt’s talk is on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at noon in the EMPAC Theater. Admission is free.
