Annual Holiday Concert
a Hit!
A holiday concert featuring the Rensselaer concert choir and orchestra was held on Sunday, Dec. 16, at the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center. More than 600 people attended the free concert and reception that followed.
The concert featured classical pieces of Handel, Brahms, Mozart, Dvorak, and more. The chorus was accompanied by the Rensselaer Orchestra under the direction of Ariel Rudiakov, who is the current conductor of the Rensselaer Orchestra and serves as the artistic director of the Manchester Music Festival.
The Festival Chorus, which includes members of the Rensselaer Concert Choir, as well as undergraduates and members of the staff, performed under the direction of Shellie Badger, the director of Rensselaer’s Concert Choir and adjunct professor. |
