Alumni Volunteer Summit To Be Held April 13-15
Rensselaer's alumni partners are invited to the second annual Volunteer Summit the weekend of April 13-15. The Volunteer Summit will include workshops and presentations from campus leaders, staff, students, and fellow volunteers that will provide an insider's view of Rensselaer, and the opportunity to network and learn.
Events include a keynote addresses by President Shirley Ann Jackson, a welcome breakfast with Rensselaer Alumni Association President Paul Cosgrave ’72, a roundtable discussion with the deans, and an array of role-specific workshops presented by alumni volunteers and staff.
"We are asking alumni to bring their passion and commitment for Rensselaer and to take this wonderful opportunity to explore new engagement opportunities or to learn about new developments and best practices in their chosen area of volunteerism," says Elisabeth Cain, director of the alumni relations volunteer program. "We are giving them the information and tools they need to succeed."
