Graduate Management Student Association Holds Wine Tasting and Networking Event

On Nov. 2, the Lally School Graduate Management Student Association hosted an event, “Cheers with Alumni 2012,” at Revolution Hall at Brown’s Brewing Co. in Troy.

The event, attended by 150 guests, featured current Lally MBA students, faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as friends of the Lally School. Guests enjoyed wine and appetizer pairings, while reconnecting with old friends, networking, and enjoying conversation.
The annual wine tasting event provides Lally graduate students with the opportunity to practice their networking skills with alumni and members of the local business community.

This year’s event included recognition of Rita Thompson, a longtime student service manager at the Lally School, for her years of service to Rensselaer students, the Lally School, and the alumni community.
