Hartford Offers New Master’s Degree Concentrations
Rensselaer’s Hartford campus will offer two new cohorts starting in spring 2013: the M.S. in Management with a concentration in global supply chain integration and the M.S. in Management with a concentration in contemporary financial management in a global setting.
The recent financial crisis and subsequent recession, and growing multinational corporations with complex, integrated global supply chains, have exposed the critical need for companies to have highly educated employees who can become strategic leaders at the forefront of change in sustainable organizations.
Students in the M.S. in Management with a concentration in global supply chain integration will learn to master the end-to-end view of the supply chain, including operations, IT, logistics, culture, capital, resources, law, and ethics; optimize quality, cost, and delivery of manufacturing through a long-term, holistic viewpoint of the enterprise; and drive strategic planning, operational development, and leadership, spanning multiple global resources and supply chains.
The M.S. in management with a concentration in contemporary financial management in a global setting is designed for participants to learn to apply the latest financial strategies in order to optimize enterprise wealth creation and mitigate risk; impact and enhance the value and performance of their organizations in the global economy; and integrate diverse and complex business considerations to make more effective decisions.
Both programs begin in March 2013. To learn more about the programs and options for graduate degree studies, contact the Office of Enrollment Management at (860) 548-2480, (800) 306-7778, or info@ewp.rpi.edu. |
