Curt Breneman Named Head of Chemistry and Chemical Biology

Curt Breneman has been named the new head of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology. Breneman has been with Rensselaer since 1989. He was formerly the acting head of the department.

Engineering Students Go Under the Big Top

The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus came to Albany in May and they invited some Rensselaer engineering students to go backstage for a behind-the-scenes meeting with “The Human Fuse” (aka Brian Miser).

Celebrating Student Leadership

As part of a long-standing tradition at Rensselaer, Grand Marshal Week was held last month. The new officers are Grand Marshal Kevin Dai ’14 and President of the Rensselaer Union Jonathan Stack ’13.

EMPAC Presents Albany Pro Musica: John Brown's Body Saturday, June 9

Albany Pro Musica will perform works from the Civil War era, including Vaughan Williams’ passionate Dona Nobis Pacem set to Walt Whitman’s wartime texts, at the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center.
