Inside Rensselaer
Undergraduate Research Symposium

The second annual Undergraduate Research Symposium was held on April 5 to showcase undergraduate research at Rensselaer. The event, sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Education, was held in the Darrin Communications Center and featured 65 participating groups giving 18 oral and 47 poster presentations. Four Rensselaer schools had student participants in the event.

Teams of faculty judges each scored sub-groups of the 47 posters or worked one of three sessions of oral presentations. The presenters for the winning entries received a cash award and a certificate. Winners were chosen in the following categories:

Oral Theoretical
