More than 300 Rensselaer students, faculty, and staff came together in the East Campus Athletic Village Arena March 26 to cheer on the men’s hockey team as they faced off against the North Dakota Fighting Sioux in the NCAA Regional Championship game in Green Bay, Wis. The FanFest event featured free food, games, prizes, and raffles. Though the Engineers (20-12-5) lost the game 6-0, campus spirits were high as this was the first time the Engineers had earned a berth in the 16-team NCAA Tournament since 1995. Congratulations to Coach Seth Appert and the entire team!
