Alumni Volunteer Summit
April 8-10

Rensselaer’s alumni partners have been invited to a Volunteer Summit the weekend of April 8-10. Attendees will hear first-hand from campus leaders about the changes taking place, and the changing — and crucial — role of volunteers. Events include a keynote addresses by President Shirley Ann Jackson; a plenary session with Vice President for Student Life Eddie Ade Knowles; a distinguished faculty panel; and an array of role-specific workshops.

“The Volunteer Summit will do more than simply provide training and information,” says Elisabeth Cain, director of the alumni relations volunteer program. “It will allow us to recognize and thank our alumni partners, whose support is so essential to Rensselaer’s mission.”

The reinvigorated alumni volunteer program will continue to match volunteer interests with available volunteer opportunities on campus, but will also seek to provide a better communication and a wider range of opportunities, services, and benefits to volunteers.

If you work with alumni volunteers, contact Elisabeth Cain at caine@rpi.edu to be sure they are included in the program.
