The Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) will present an analog story of grand scale utilizing performance, live music, and animation, inspired by Walt Whitman’s The Mystic Saxophonist.

JACK Quartet
Dec. 9

The Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) will present the JACK quarter on Friday, Dec. 9. A string quartet performance in two acts, the evening will feature three pieces from the 1960s to the present that play with conventions of music notation and performance, and a haunting 30-minute piece from the 1990s with an uncanny spectral interplay.

The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $18/$13/$6.
