Day care service for the children of staff and faculty Rensselaer, as well as students, is available at nearby Samaritan Hospital in Troy. The service is provided under an agreement between Rensselaer and Northeast Health, the parent company of Samaritan. The Samaritan-Rensselaer Children’s Center is located at 2213 Burdett Ave., near the intersection with Peoples Avenue.

In addition, the center has summer programs available for children of staff, faculty, and students. There will be two programs: one for children ages 6 to 8, and one for children ages 9 to 12.
